With six years of dedicated experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Vietnam, I have cultivated a deep understanding of patient care, healthcare systems, and the nuances of clinical practice. My journey in nursing has been both rewarding and challenging, providing me with a strong foundation in medical knowledge, patient communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Throughout my career as an RN, I have been committed to delivering high-quality care, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the emotional and physical well-being of those under my care. My experiences in Vietnam have equipped me with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, manage diverse patient populations, and navigate complex healthcare scenarios with professionalism and empathy.

In pursuit of further enhancing my skills and broadening my professional horizons, I recently completed my education as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) at Mohawk College, where I am set to graduate this August. This additional training has enriched my understanding of patient-centered care, particularly in the context of providing holistic support to individuals with varying needs, including the elderly, disabled, and those requiring long-term care.

My education at Mohawk College has not only expanded my clinical expertise but has also deepened my appreciation for the critical role that PSWs play in the healthcare continuum. I am eager to integrate my nursing background with my newly acquired PSW skills to contribute effectively to multidisciplinary teams, advocate for patient dignity, and enhance the quality of life for those I serve.

As I transition into this new role, I bring with me a wealth of experience, a commitment to continuous learning, and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of patients. I am excited to apply my knowledge, adapt to new challenges, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate, comprehensive care.
