The search function finds all caregivers within a certain distance radius of the postal code you enter, and you can also use the filter function to list caregivers in a specific service category.

Click on the City Name on any page to find all the caregivers in that area. Click on the Category Name on any page to find all caregivers in that category.

On mobile devices, tap the icon Mobile Menu in the upper left corner to open the main menus. Tap the icon Login Icon in the upper right corner to log in to your dashboard or sign up for a new account. By clicking on the + icon, caregivers can add their profile pages.

There are two ways to contact caregivers on each caregiver’s page:

Send emails to this caregiver: You can email caregivers with your care needs and service location, and ask about the service rate. The email will be sent directly to the caregiver, who will reply to you by email.

Live chat with this caregiver: You can get instant replies and find all saved conversations on the same page. The caregiver will receive a reminder and reply as soon as possible. It is recommended that you save this page to your Favourites so you can easily open it again.

Service rates depend on two main aspects:

  1. Workload, complexity, client health conditions, and service environment
  2. Caregiver’s certificates, qualifications, experience, expertise and professional competence.

Our e-platform offers direct dialogue for clients and caregivers , absolutely no middleman. Clients and caregivers can directly discuss detailed service requirements, scheduling and payment options, and clients can also pay caregivers directly. No one can interfere with the contact between clients and caregivers, everything will be decided by their discussion.

Some home care and home health care providers are required by regulations and industry standards to hold appropriate licenses and certifications, and different categories of services have different licensing and certification requirements.

The “Verified” badge on our website indicates that the service provider has passed the relevant training and is capable of delivering the service. Obtaining this badge means that the service provider has supplied the required proof of qualification and has complied with the relevant standards, demonstrating a high level of trustworthiness and credibility.

All service providers are required one of these documents when providing services to residents:

  1. A criminal background checks issued within 12 months in Canada.
  2. Student exam records or transcripts issued by the school attended in Canada.

The qualification requirements for the different Home care categories:

  1. Nurses and Therapists: A copy of certificate issued by an authorized organization in Canada, which can be verified online.
  2. Personal Support Worker: one of these certificates:
    • A copy of a Personal Support Worker certificate or equivalent (Developmental Service Worker, Health Care Assistant, RPN, RN, etc.) issued by an authorized organization or school in Canada.
    • Nursing students who have completed at least one year of studies in Canada.
    • A foreign nurse certificate issued by an officially authorized organization.
  3. Valid CPR/First Aid certificate is required for Personal Support Worker, Nurses, and Therapists.
  4. Home support services: HSW certificate, Home Care Assistant or relevant work experience.

The CPR/First Aid certificate must: 1. Be issued by a Canadian authorized organization; 2. Have passed all on-site training and examinations. Any certificate that consists solely of online CPR/First Aid training and courses will not be accepted.

For other service providers:

  • A government identification card or utility bill (e.g., electronic/gas) confirming your name and address.
  • A valid criminal background checks or student ID card, particularly if providing indoor services.
  • If operating from a business location, proof of the business address.
  • Copies of Any relevant certifications, permits, licenses and diplomas required by regulations.

Clients and caregivers are advised to sign a Service Agreement regarding service requirements, payment, confidentiality and liability. You can download a template here, but please read every detail carefully and modify it to suit your specific situation.

Our e-platform offers clients direct contact with caregivers so they can make payments directly to the caregivers. In most cases, a written and signed record of the transfer (paper or electronic) can be considered a receipt of payment and can be used for tax purposes.
