Is there any cost to join?

No. ComforHome is free for caregivers to list their services. There are no membership fees, listing fees, or commissions. You keep every dollar you earn.

How do clients contact me?

People browse caregiver profiles and contact you directly via the information you provide (phone, email). You communicate and negotiate all arrangements directly with them.

What is the certified badge?

The CERTIFIED badge shows that the Ontario certificates required for that listing are on file with ComforHome. Optional but recommended — profiles with credentials on file often receive more inquiries. See Show your certified badge for requirements.

Who handles payments?

You do. Clients pay you directly using your preferred method (e-transfer, direct deposit, cheque, etc.). ComforHome does not process payments or take commission.

Am I employed by ComforHome?

No. You are an independent care professional. ComforHome is a free information platform that connects you with clients. You are not employed by us and we do not manage your services.

Can I choose my clients?

Yes. You have complete control over which clients you work with. Review inquiries, meet or interview, and accept only the arrangements that work for you.
