Pediatric nurse and university educator offering family-centred, culturally responsive care
- Police Record Check, Foreign nursing license / Diploma

I hold an MBBS degree and over seven years of healthcare experience, including more than five years supporting individuals with mental health concerns, autism-related needs, behavioural challenges, and psychosocial difficulties. I am First Aid and Basic Life Support certified, with additional Good Clinical Practice training. My work has spanned clinical hospital settings, residential care, community care, and private homes. I provide person-centred support for activities of daily living, personal hygiene, grooming assistance, mobility support, and safe transfers. I monitor health conditions within my authorized scope, apply infection prevention practices, and maintain accurate documentation while respecting confidentiality. I use calm communication, active listening, emotional reassurance, and de-escalation techniques when individuals experience distress. I have supported people from diverse backgrounds, always promoting their safety, dignity, comfort, and independence. I collaborate with families, caregivers, and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and appropriate escalation when needed. I understand the importance of predictable routines, individualized approaches, and respectful interactions when supporting people with behavioural or developmental needs. I consider the physical, emotional, social, and environmental factors affecting an individual wellbeing when planning support.
