HSCPOA registered NACC certified support worker with dementia care and medication administration training
- Police Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Check, CPR / First aid Certificate, Personal Support Worker Certificate

I am a certified Personal Support Worker with more than two years of hands-on experience caring for seniors in private homes and in long-term care. My day-to-day work covers the full range of personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and the quiet practicalities of hygiene that most people would rather not have to ask about. I hold a Personal Support Worker Certificate and Direct Support Worker training, supported by current CPR and First Aid, WHMIS, and infection prevention and control training.
Dementia and Alzheimer’s care sit at the centre of how I work. I have supported clients living with memory loss through safe transfers, wheelchairs and mobility aids, and mechanical lifts, including Hoyer lifts, always choosing the choice that keeps the person steady and in charge of the decision. I prepare meals around individual dietary needs, assist with feeding and hydration, give medication reminders within my assigned responsibilities, and plan for fall prevention so a home stays a place a person can move through safely.
Families usually tell me that consistency is what counts most. I observe, document, and report changes in physical, emotional, and behavioural condition so nothing goes unnoticed between visits, keep living spaces clean, organised, and hazard-free, and protect client privacy in every conversation with families and the wider care team.
My aim is straightforward: independence, dignity, comfort, and safety, plus enough companionship that a day still feels like a day.
