I’ve always been drawn to helping others, especially those who need a little extra support. My journey began with a passion for early childhood education, but I soon realized my true calling lay in providing compassionate care for seniors. Through my education and experience as a Personal Support Worker (PSW), I’ve developed a deep understanding of the unique needs of older adults.

I thrive in environments where I can build meaningful connections and make a real difference in people’s lives. My time working in long-term care facilities, assisted living, and retirement homes has equipped me with the skills to provide comprehensive personal care, including assistance with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and mobility. I’m also proficient in safe lifting techniques and positioning to ensure the comfort and well-being of my clients.

Beyond physical care, I believe in fostering emotional well-being. I’m a patient listener who enjoys engaging in conversations and sharing stories. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where seniors feel valued, respected, and empowered.

My experience as a home caregiver has further strengthened my ability to provide individualized care within the comfort of someone’s own home. I understand the importance of maintaining routines, respecting personal preferences, and creating a sense of normalcy for those transitioning to in-home care.

I am dedicated to ongoing learning and professional development. My certifications in First Aid & CPR, Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA), and PSW ensure that I provide safe and effective care while prioritizing the dignity and autonomy of my clients.
