- Police Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Check, CPR / First aid Certificate, Personal Support Worker Certificate

More than 5 years.
For over five years, I’ve dedicated myself to providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. My journey began as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) in Nigeria, where I honed my skills in assisting with daily living activities, offering emotional support, and fostering a sense of dignity for those I served.
My passion for making a difference led me to Canada, where I earned my PSW Diploma from Livingwaters College of Healthcare. Since then, I’ve worked in diverse settings – from retirement homes to community organizations – gaining invaluable experience in supporting individuals with varying needs.
I believe in empowering independence and promoting quality of life. Whether it’s assisting with dressing and bathing, preparing nutritious meals, or simply engaging in meaningful conversations, I strive to create a safe and comfortable environment where my clients can thrive.
My commitment to excellence extends beyond practical skills. I am a patient listener, respectful communicator, and advocate for my clients’ well-being. I understand the importance of cultural sensitivity and individual preferences, tailoring my approach to meet each person’s unique needs.
I am also proficient in utilizing mechanical lifting equipment and possess a strong understanding of infection control protocols. My certifications in Safe Management Training, CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, and Standard First Aid CPR/AED Level C demonstrate my dedication to providing safe and effective care.
Ultimately, my goal is to build trusting relationships with my clients and their families, becoming a reliable source of support and companionship in their homes.
