I am an experienced home care professional dedicated to providing personalized support for clients with intellectual disabilities, mental health challenges, and those requiring assistance in daily living activities. My background includes a substantial career as a Developmental Support Worker, Assistant Teacher, and other caregiver roles. Throughout my professional journey, I have honed skills that are crucial for delivering high-quality care. I am adept in assisting with domestic tasks like cooking, cleaning, washing, and shopping, ensuring clients maintain a comfortable living environment.

I also assist clients in applying for disability grants and other financial benefits, advising them on practical issues, and training them in essential life skills. My work involves meticulous record-keeping, making case notes, and completing log books to ensure that all client interactions are documented accurately and confidentially.

Collaborating closely with a Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT), I tailor care plans according to each client’s needs, aiming to help them achieve their personal goals while building connections within the community. My role requires constant supervision from qualified staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in health promotion, standards of care, and social enterprises.
