Compassionate Caregiver: Delivering Dignified Support with a Personal Touch
- Police Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Check, CPR / First aid Certificate, Personal Support Worker Certificate

4 years.
I’ve always been drawn to helping others, especially those in their later years who need a little extra support. My journey has taken me from the bustling streets of Japan to the clinical setting of a Canadian hospital, equipping me with a diverse skillset and unwavering dedication to providing compassionate care.
For over four years, I had the privilege of working as a caregiver in Japan, supporting elderly individuals in their daily lives. I assisted with personal care tasks like bathing, dressing, and toileting while ensuring their comfort and dignity. I also prepared nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and provided mobility support through safe transfers and walking assistance.
Beyond the practical aspects of caregiving, I deeply value the emotional connection I build with my clients. Offering companionship, listening attentively to their stories, and creating a warm, welcoming environment are essential parts of my approach.
Currently completing my clinical placement at North York General Hospital’s Reactivation Care Centre, I am further honing my skills in patient-centered care and collaborating effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals. My training includes vital signs monitoring, medication assistance, fall prevention strategies, and responding calmly to emergencies.
I am eager to bring my experience and dedication to a Personal Support Worker or Health Care Aide position where I can continue making a positive difference in the lives of seniors.
